The 77-year-old died earlier this week in Ajaccio, Corsica. His death comes just weeks after that of Alain Dorval, who lent his French voice to Sylvester Stallone. He also provided the voices of Ernie Hudson, Rutger Hauer, and Alan Rickman. He voiced Lumi\u00e8re in the animated film Beauty and the Beast (1991) and the mayor in The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993). He also gained fame as an actor, appearing in films such as Wild Summer (1970), Dust in the Sun (1972), Nightcrawler (1988), and Cyrano de Bergerac (1990), to name a few.
